On June 23, 2026, the Digital Transformation Seminar for the Equipment Manufacturing Industry and CAXA 2027 New Product Launch Conference, jointly hosted by Shaoxing NANTE Crane Equipment Co., Ltd. (NANTE CRANE) and leading Chinese industrial software provider CAXA, was successfully held at the Nante Silver Hill Production Base.

Representatives from the Shaoxing Digital Economy Promotion Association, CAXA, and dozens of manufacturing enterprises gathered to explore practical pathways for cost-effective and high-efficiency digital transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

As an outstanding pilot enterprise for digital transformation in Shaoxing, NANTE CRANE hosted the event to share its proven and replicable experience in lightweight digital upgrading and intelligent manufacturing.

During the conference, CAXA officially released its CAXA 2027 product portfolio and industry-specific digital solutions, showcasing its latest innovations in integrated CAD, PLM, and MES platforms, as well as applications tailored to specialized manufacturing sectors.

Attendees were also invited to tour NANTE CRANE’s digitalized production workshop, gaining first-hand insights into the company’s intelligent manufacturing practices and digital transformation achievements.

During the sharing session, Mr. Zheng Fanggan, General Manager of NANTE CRANE, presented the company’s digital transformation journey, covering its strategic planning, implementation process, challenges encountered, and measurable results.

Planning: Nante adopted a strategy centered on “digital-intelligent empowerment and lean manufacturing,” establishing a digital system that spans the entire business value chain. This includes core modules such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), SCM (Supply Chain Management), AQS (Quality Control), CRANE IoT (Equipment Connectivity), and CAXA PLM/MES, thereby achieving seamless end-to-end integration from order placement to delivery.

Implementation: SMEs need to proceed in phases, prioritizing the integration of critical data flows between R&D and production before gradually extending to supply chain management, customer service, and quality traceability. Nante collaborated with CAXA and ecosystem partners to deploy “compact, rapid, lightweight, and precise” solutions.

Challenges: The company faced hurdles such as limited capital, a shortage of digital talent, and the complexities of multi-system integration. These issues were progressively resolved through phased investment, internal talent development, and external collaboration.

Results: The initiative achieved platform unification and broke down departmental silos. System synergy generated collective momentum, resulting in shortened order-to-delivery cycles, improved quality traceability efficiency, and real-time monitoring of equipment operational data. Overall operational efficiency was significantly enhanced.

General Manager Zheng stated that this system has established a replicable and scalable digital model for the hoisting machinery industry. Moving forward, the company aims to deepen ecosystem collaboration, helping more SMEs “understand, master, and rapidly adopt” these digital practices, thereby jointly driving high-quality development across the industry.
