Date: 2025-12-05 Share:
Amid rising global demand for digitalised, sustainable and high-performance lifting solutions, Nante has made significant strategic investments in intelligent manufacturing, energy efficiency, and continuous product R&D. The launch of the Silver Hill Production Base not only marks a major expansion of Nante’s production capacity, but also represents a comprehensive upgrade of its manufacturing processes and brand value. This milestone is set to establish a new benchmark for global crane manufacturing.
Built for Excellence: Meeting Strong Market Demand
From 2018 to 2024, Nante achieved sustained and rapid growth. To meet increasing international demand and overcome existing capacity limitations, the company invested USD 15 million to build 21,000 m² of advanced production space and a 3,500 m² R&D centre.Approved in July 2023, the project underwent one year of design, twelve months of construction, and 150 days of trial operation. It is scheduled to be fully operational in January 2026.
Three Strategic: Intelligence, Zero-Carbon, Harmony
The Silver Hill Production Base is built upon three core strategic pillars—smart operations, zero-carbon production, and human-centred harmony—aiming to elevate Nante’s operational capability to world-leading standards.
1.Intelligent Manufacturing: A Fully Connected Digital Production System
The facility employs a dual-network architecture, integrating full 5G coverage from China Mobile with an internal industrial LAN, ensuring high-speed and seamless connectivity across all systems and equipment.
Key digital management systems include:
ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning for integrated business and resource management
MES – Manufacturing Execution System for real-time production control
WMS + AGV – Warehouse Management System with automated guided vehicles for intelligent materials handling
PLM – Product Lifecycle Management for full-scope lifecycle control
EMS – Proprietary energy monitoring and optimisation system developed by Nante
NANTE-IOT – Nante’s self-developed IoT platform for full lifecycle crane monitoring and predictive maintenance
Notably, the warehouse operates in an unmanned mode. Through the coordinated operation of the WMS, automated forklifts, and transport AGVs, the system retrieves materials automatically. After warehouse staff complete material preparation, the AGVs communicate with smart lifts to deliver materials accurately to assembly stations across different floors.
This highly integrated digital network enables information synchronisation and data-driven decision-making, significantly enhancing operational transparency and overall production efficiency. It also supports future expansion of customer-facing functions, such as real-time online order tracking.
2.Zero-Carbon Green Factory: Fulfilling the Social Responsibility of Modern Chinese Manufacturing
Nante integrates advanced green-energy technologies and operational IoT systems to embed sustainability into every aspect of daily operations.
Key initiatives include:
High-efficiency equipment: Adoption of IE3-plus energy-efficient motors and widespread use of variable-frequency technology.
Solar power generation: Maximising green energy use to achieve a near zero-carbon operational profile.
Rainwater recycling: Collecting and reusing rainwater to reduce demand on public water resources.
EMS energy management: Real-time monitoring of water, electricity and gas usage across all workshops and offices, identifying abnormalities and providing improvement suggestions to minimise waste.
3.Human-Centred Harmony: Integrating Industry, Nature and People
Located within a natural wetland park, the Silver Hill Production Base is designed as a harmonious model where industrial development coexists with natural surroundings and human wellbeing.
Environmental protection measures include:
An investment of USD 2 million into two enclosed paint booths and advanced exhaust treatment systems to achieve pollutant-free emissions. Industrial noise and dust are minimised to provide a comfortable working environment while protecting the surrounding ecosystem.
People-first workspace design:
Nante focuses on creating a healthy, inspiring and supportive environment for employees. Carefully planned communal areas—such as a 200 m² rooftop garden, a 300 m² gym, a 500 m² multifunctional activity zone and uniquely designed break areas on each floor—are intended to enhance well-being, boost creativity and support long-term career development.
Manufacturing Capability and Workshop Layout: Delivering Precision and High Performance
The physical layout and core processes of the Silver Hill Production Base were meticulously engineered to support its intelligent manufacturing strategy and ensure the delivery of high-precision, high-performance products.
Large-span assembly area:
A 30-metre span and 18-metre lifting height equipped with two anti-sway overhead cranes and three semi-gantry cranes. This space supports assembly and testing of large-scale equipment and super-heavy-duty cranes.
Core component machining centre:
A USD 2.5 million investment in a gantry machining centre with a 4 m × 3 m × 6 m worktable, capable of completing boring, milling, drilling and tapping in a single operation. This ensures outstanding precision for key components such as wheels, drums, hoist frames and shafts.
High-standard painting facilities:
Drawing on years of accumulated expertise, Nante has established some of the industry’s most advanced coating capabilities. Two automated paint lines, a large mobile paint room capable of handling components up to 30 metres, and a sealed booth equipped with a natural-gas drying system allow year-round high-quality painting, even in cold or humid conditions.

Including steel cutting and storage areas, hoist assembly, electrical assembly, product testing and commissioning areas—ensuring professional, efficient and streamlined production flow.
A New Chapter for Nante: Empowering Global Customers
The launch of the Silver Hill Production Base marks a significant enhancement in Nante’s ability to deliver globally competitive products and solutions. Digitalised operations shorten production cycles and lead times, ensuring rapid and reliable order fulfilment. High-precision machining and industry-leading coating processes further enhance product stability and long-term reliability.
Moreover, Nante’s commitment to zero-carbon manufacturing supports customers in meeting increasingly stringent global sustainability requirements—aligning business value with environmental responsibility.
With the new factory in full readiness, Nante is well-positioned to support more demanding, internationally focused projects and will continue creating greater value for global partners while leading excellence in the crane-manufacturing industry.
