On July 30, 2026, Shaoxing Nantes Lifting Equipment Co., Ltd. officially signed an exclusive agency agreement for the Egyptian market with Egypt’s EAST Group at the Nantes Yinshan factory. Zheng Fanggan, General Manager of Nantes Lifting, and Mr. Kamal, Chairman of EAST Group’s board, signed on behalf of both sides, marking a key step in Nantes’ strategic move into the North African market.
EAST Group is a well-known engineering service integration contractor in Egypt, with business covering power engineering, mechanical processing, project contracting, and large equipment maintenance. Over the past 25 years, thanks to its high-end brand positioning and professional market services, EAST Group has built a solid customer base and a good reputation in the Egyptian market.
As an important country along the Belt and Road, Egypt has been speeding up its infrastructure construction and industrialization, with huge market potential. Nant has been deeply involved in the Egyptian market for over ten years, and by 2025, its performance surpassed $1 million. It has delivered 15 track-laying cranes to Egypt’s state-owned railway company and 5 customized metallurgical cranes to Aze Steel, winning widespread trust from customers with reliable product performance.
The signing of this exclusive agency agreement is a strong recognition of the close cooperation between the two parties over the past few years. According to the agreement, the EAST Group will act as Nantes’ exclusive agent in the Egyptian market, fully responsible for the promotion, sales, and services of the Nantes brand in the region.
After the signing ceremony, Mr. Kamal visited the Nantes Silver Mountain 5G Smart Factory in person and highly praised the factory’s intelligent equipment, green production concepts, and excellent office environment. He said, “I am very honored to cooperate with a company like Nantes that focuses on its brand, is deeply rooted in the industry, and continuously innovates. I believe that with our joint efforts, Nantes will definitely become a leading brand for high-end, energy-efficient, intelligent lifting equipment in Egypt and Northeast Africa.”
This signing marks an important milestone in Nantes’ internationalization process. In the future, Nantes will continue to deepen its presence in overseas markets, work hand in hand with global partners for mutual success, and let ‘Made in China’ shine even more brightly on the world stage.
