Nante Crane and Schneider Electric Joint Laboratory Opens in Shaoxing

Empowering Heavy Lifting with Digital Intelligence

    On April 24, 2026, Shaoxing Nante Crane Equipment Co., Ltd. and Schneider Electric held the opening ceremony for their Joint Laboratory at the R&D Building of Nante Crane’s Silver Hill Production Base in Shaoxing. Under the theme of “Empowering Heavy Lifting with Digital Intelligence,” the event marked a new stage of practical cooperation between the two companies in crane intelligence, digitalization, and IoT applications.

    The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Jiang Jianfeng, Deputy Chief Engineer of Zhejiang Special Equipment Science Research Institute; Dr. Li Chengfei from the Engineering Machinery Division of Zhejiang Special Equipment Science Research Institute; and Professor Wei Guiyi, Honorary Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence at Zhejiang Gongshang University. Representatives from Schneider Electric, Hangzhou Zhongyeda, and Nante Crane’s management team also joined the event to witness this important milestone.

    During the ceremony, Dr. Li Chengfei introduced the development history and key research areas of Zhejiang Special Equipment Science Research Institute in the field of engineering machinery. Representatives from Schneider Electric, including Yang Xiaolei, Zhang Junjie, and Xu Yuehua, delivered presentations on Schneider Electric’s technical capabilities, crane industry solutions, core competency development, and the latest applications of predictive maintenance.

    Zheng Fanggan, General Manager of Nante Crane, delivered a welcome speech and expressed his sincere appreciation to all leaders, experts, and partners for attending the ceremony. He also shared Nante Crane’s achievements and future plans in crane digitalization, intelligent control, and IoT-based solutions, and expressed confidence in deepening cooperation with Schneider Electric and other partners.

    Representatives from both sides held in-depth discussions on future cooperation in intelligent crane R&D, smart operation and maintenance, and fault prediction. Both parties agreed that the Joint Laboratory will help accelerate the practical application of advanced technologies and contribute to the high-quality development of the crane industry. The highlight of the ceremony came when Mr. Zheng of Nante Crane and Mr. Yang of Schneider Electric jointly unveiled the plaque for the Joint Laboratory, officially marking the launch of the cooperation project.

    The event concluded in a warm and productive atmosphere. The establishment of the Joint Laboratory recognizes Nante Crane’s achievements in energy-saving, intelligent, and digital crane technologies, and represents an important milestone in the complementary cooperation between Nante Crane and Schneider Electric. Looking ahead, both parties will continue to work together to empower the future of heavy lifting with digital intelligence.
